Something Strange was the first band I was apart of. Formed in 2013, our first show was for a 4th of July party for our drummer's neighborhood (where we practiced at the time). Soon after we started playing shows at the Mirkwood in Arlington, WA. (Who knows how many times Something Strange has played there, 300+??)

While in high school, we were all very involved with band, choir and drama. This landed us a spot as the backing band/live music for the spring musical. We played 30 Elvis songs for every show and performed about 10 shows doing that. Quinn was the lead, so he sang most of the songs, that made it feel just like another show for us! The next musical we did, we just recorded the backing tracks, those are included!

We recorded our first single in 2014 and played endless shows until we won a recording deal from Anacortes, WA music legend: Karl Blau, who gave us studio time to record the Blue Bird EP. After it's release in 2016, the band took quiet a break from each other.
Reuniting in early 2017, we moved into to a house together and started working on our full length concept album- nothing was ever released from those sessions. The group fully ended in 2018 and our last two performances are also included in this compilation.
